Learn Orlando Tutoring exists to help Central Florida educators find additional income while connecting qualified tutors with the parents who need them.
We know the need is real. Here in Central Florida especially, too many educators struggle to make ends meet on the salaries they're offered. That's why we keep our fees as low as possible — just enough to cover our costs, and nothing more. And if the $1.99 per month is a hardship, please write to us directly and we'll review your situation.
Every tutor on our platform is a current teacher at a public Central Florida school. This is not just about quality — it's about the safety of the children who rely on us. Public school educators undergo the fingerprinting and background checks required by their districts, and by verifying that our tutors are active public school employees, we extend that protection to every family here.
To keep that protection current, we re-verify each tutor's official school email address every month. If an educator is no longer employed by their district, their access ends. It's a simple safeguard, and we believe the children of Central Florida deserve nothing less.
As the husband of an Orange County teacher, I've seen the struggle up close. So many teachers can't make ends meet — not because they don't work hard, but because they simply aren't paid enough to live. Too often, the people who give the most to our children's future are the ones left behind. Realistically, many teachers can no longer afford to keep helping kids the way they want to.
If that's where you find yourself, I hope you won't give up. And if there's anything I can do to help you keep teaching here in Central Florida, please reach out to me directly.
